alexander-jessupdn

Beloved son of Matthew and Paulette (nee Lebel) Jessup of Callander. Cherished grandchild of Gary and Mary Jessup and Andre and Anne Lebel. Loved nephew of Mary Dee and Hal Pike, Kathleen and Ed Bertrand, Stuart and Shelley Jessup, Andrew Jessup, and Steve and Shannon Lebel. Alex was predeceased by his Uncle Andrew Lebel.

He will always be lovingly remembered by his many cousins, extended family, friends, and teammates. Though an only child, he had an extended family of brothers and sisters who loved him.

Alex had an outgoing and positive attitude and he always lit up a room when he entered. He lived life to the fullest and left a lasting impression on everyone he met. Alex had the biggest heart, he cared so deeply for all his friends and family.

Alex had many passions including spending time in nature, hiking, fishing, playing video games, and spending time with friends and family. He was best known for his passion for football. He was a force on the field as linebacker with the St. Joseph Scollard Hall Bears, the North Bay Bulldogs, and was grateful for his current position as a Defensive End for the Dalhousie Tigers. His teammates will miss his contagious smile and uplifting spirit.

The family will receive visitors at the McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Sunday December 4, 2022, between the hours of 1pm and 4pm and 6pm to 9pm.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Peter the Apostle Church on Monday December 5, 2022, at 11am. For those not able to join the family in person for the Mass it will be live streamed.
