JAMIESON, Grace (nee Hancock)

Peacefully at Eastholme in Powassan on Thursday, November 17, 2005 at the age of 89 years. Predeceased by her husband Jamie (February 2002). Loving mother of Jamie (Suzanne) of Ottawa, Fred (Helen) both of Ottawa and Elizabeth (Robert Kirk) of North Bay. She will be fondly remembered by her five grandchildren Allan (Tammy), Steven, Jennifer, Laura, Katie. Also survived by her brother Wes Hancock (Helen) of Scarborough, and brother-in-law Reg Yates of Scarborough. Grace was past member of the U.C.W. at Carleton United Church in St. Catharines, member of The Federated Women's Institutes of Ontario and a volunteer of Christy Street Hospital (during WWII) in Toronto. Family receiving friends at HILLSIDE FUNERAL SERVICES, 362 Airport Road, today from 2 until 4 and 7 until 9 p.m. and Sunday from 12 noon until 1:30 p.m. Funeral service Sunday November 20th at Omond Memorial United Church, 319 McKenzie Avenue, at 2 p.m. Interment alongside her husband Jamie at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society in memory of Grace will be gratefully acknowledged by her family.
