JACKS, Agnes (Canadian Member)

Passed away at North Bay General Hospital Scollard Site, Friday, April 1, 2005 at the age of 81 years. Agnes (née MacKrell) was the beloved wife of the late Sam Jacks and loved mother of Barry (Donna Marie) of Tottenham, Bruce (Barbara) of North Bay and Brian (Barbara) of Kanata. She will be lovingly remembered by eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Agnes was the dear sister of Arthur, Edward and John MacKrell all of Britain, Anne Woods of North Bay, Betty Waring (Edward) of Pickering and Patricia MacKrell of Britain. She was predeceased by her parents, Jane McGearey and Patrick MacKrell, one sister Ellen and a brother James. Agnes was member of Pro-Cathedral of the Assumption Catholic Women's League and former member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Women's League. She was known as Ringette Ambassador for Canada and was a proud recipient of the Order of Canada and Queen's Jubilee. Family and friends may pay their respects at McGUINTY FUNERAL HOME, today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Pro-Cathedral of the Assumption Tuesday at 10 a.m. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery.
