IANNUCCI, Restituta (Rita)

It is with deep sorrow that the family of Restituta (Rita) Iannucci announce the passing of a dear mother, grandmother and great- grandmother. Rita passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 2, 2006. Rita was predeceased by her husband Domenico Iannucci in May, 1976. She was predeceased by her parents Vincenzo Tersigni and Loretta Polsinelli of Rome, Italy, her sister Marietta of Rome, Italy, her brothers Francesco of Pisa, Italy, Guiseppe who was killed in France during the Second World War and Antonio of Rome, Italy. Rita leaves behind her loving and devoted children, Yolanda Piccoli (husband Arrigo) of Downsview, and Gaetano (Guy) (wife Helena Franc) of Kirkland Lake, Ontario. She is also survived by her sister Natalina of Rome, Italy. She leaves behind her four grandchildren, Anthony (Diane) and Guy Jr. (Freida) Iannucci, Angela (Anthony) Butera and Paul Piccoli. She also leaves behind her beloved great-grandchildren Vanessa of North Bay, Yolanda of Thunder Bay, Karissa and Kayla of Mount Pearl, Nfld. and Catherine and Calista of Woodbridge. Mourning her loss are many nieces and nephews in Italy and Canada.



A visitation was held at the WARD FUNERAL HOME, 2035 Weston Rd. (north of Lawrence), Weston, on Monday from 2 - 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, December 5, 2006, at 11:30 a.m. at St. Philip Neri Church, followed by interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. The family wish to thank all the staff of the Villa Colombo for the excellent care given to Rita, especially the staff of the 5th floor, Fidani Wing. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Villa Colombo or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
