It is with heavy hearts that we announce that Joan Hurtubise (nee Riccuito) passed away December 12th, 2023, 10 days shy of her 81st birthday at Waters Edge Care Community. She will be remembered fondly by her son Troy Smith and his wife Lynn and family of Port Moody, BC. She w ill also be missed by her many friends here in North Bay.
Joan was a force to be reckoned with and her departure will leave a hole in the hearts of many.
A special thank you to all the nurses, PSWs, doctors , staff and volunteers at Waters Edge Care Community.
