Mary Hughes died suddenly at her home in North Bay on Sunday, December 2, 2012. She was in her 79th year. Mary (nee McCabe) was predeceased by her husband Wellington Samuel Hughes (1926 - 2000). She was the loving mother of the late Ernest Floyd, Maxine Hughes of North Bay, Nelson Hughes of Kamloops, British Columbia, Wellington Hughes of Mattawa, Brian Hughes of North Bay, Trevor Hughes of Mattawa, Bradley Hughes of Chisholm and Floyd Hughes of North Bay. She will be forever remembered by 16 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Mary was the dear sister of Beatrice, Art and Loretta and was predeceased by ten siblings. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will take place at a later date to be announced.
