At North Bay General Hospital, Scollard Site on Saturday, December 31, 2005 at the age of 84 years. Beloved husband of 60 years to Poppy (nee Vitalis). Dear father of Peter of Toronto and Irene (Robert Lariviere) of North Bay. He will be fondly remembered by his six grandchildren, Michael, Alicia, David, John, Anastasia and Christopher. Sadly missed by his adopted daughter Carmen. Family receiving friends at HILLSIDE FUNERAL SERVICES, 362 Airport Road, on Tuesday January 3, 2006 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service Wednesday, January 4 at Holy Name of Jesus Parish, 895 Memorial Drive at 11 a.m. Donations to the Alzheimer Society of Ontario in memory of John will be gratefully acknowledged by his family.
