HORCHAK, Mary

Of Guelph, passed away at the Henderson Hospital, Hamilton, Friday, March 17, 2006, in her 63rd year. Beloved daughter of the late Milica Zrnic and the late Tony Horchak. Loved sister of Annie Madigan of R.R. 1, Corbeil and the late Charles O'Connor. Dear sister-in-law of Janine O'Connor and the late Greg Madigan. Cherished aunt of Danny (Linda) O'Connor, Peggy O'Connor (Marc Bergeron), Kelly Madigan (Kevin Aultman), Tania Madigan, Shanna Madigan and Stacey Madigan. Great-aunt of Jenny-Lee, Tiffany, Kaylee, Alexi, Grace and Mya.

Mary was a retired teacher and a fourteen year cancer survivor. She was actively involved with the Canadian Cancer Society; Cancer Information; the Breast Cancer Support Group of Guelph; the Breaststrokes Dragon Boat Team; the Guelph Country Club; curling; and golf.

Friends were be received at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph, on Sunday March 19, 2006. Vigil for Mary was held Sunday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. Funeral Mass was celebrated at Church of Our Lady, 28 Norfolk St., Guelph, Monday, March 20, 2006 at 10 a.m. Spring interment Monseigneur Pierre Grenier Cemetery, Hearst.
