Funeral mass for the late Horace W. Carbonneau was celebrated by Reverend Jean Vezina at Paroisse St-Vincent-de-Paul, Monday, September 20, 2004 at 11 a.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Pallbearers were Ted O'Donnell, Louis Carbonneau, Pete Carbonneau, Paul Carbonneau, Andrew Lavergne and Daniel Carbonneau. Horace passed away peacefully at Leisureworld Caregiving Centre, Friday, September 17, 2004, at the age of 97 years. He is survived by his daughter Murielle O'Donnell (Ted); sons Louis 'Clarence' (Jean), Paul, of North Bay, and Pierre 'Pete' (Léonie) of Brampton; sister Gerda Kendall of Timmins; sisters-in-law Bella Carbonneau of Ottawa, Gabrielle Savage of Timmins; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents Clara and Omer Carbonneau; first wife Hermonne Rondeau (1945); second wife Sidonie Thanasse (1995); daughter Claudette Lavergne (1993); sister Blanche Fauvelle, and brothers Clarence, Fred, Dan and Ovila (Nick).
