In loving memory of May Holliday who was called home November 13, 2018 with her family by her side. Born July 12, 1938 to Michael and Mary Phillips. Mary Carmel Phillips (May), originally from Ireland came to Canada in 1967 to marry the love of her life Glen, together they raised two loving children. She was completely dedicated to her children in all aspects of their lives, as well as all the children around her. She has impacted so many with her love, nurturing personality and temper. No one who met her forgot her smile, passion, spirit and strength. She was truly one of a kind. May enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. She spent her time making her home welcome, whether it was a hot meal, cup of tea, cold beer, warm smile or just "Hi Hon", everyone felt at home with her. She will be sorely missed, but will continue to live on through all the memories everyone has. May is survived by her husband of 51 years, Glen Holliday. Sister Lily and brother Joe. Children Dale (Jacqueline) and Kim (John). Grandchildren Justin (Amie), Cody (Kaitlyn), Larrisa, Brady (Vanessa) and Reagan. Great-grandchildren Lium, Cameron, Owen, Conner and Stryder as well as numerous friends and family. Predeceased by her mother and father Michael and Mary Phillips, son-in-law Ken Meir, and brother Michael Phillips. In honouring May's wishes, a service will be held at a later date.
