HODGINS, Jeanne

It is with profound sadness that the family of Jeanne Hodgins (Paquette, Labelle) announces her recent passing on Saturday, December 19th,2015 at North Bay Regional Hospital. Jeanne was the daughter of Oscar H. Paquette and Emily Paquette (Hopkinson) who have predeceased her.  She was the much admired sister of Vivian Molnar and Philip Paquette.  She was the devoted mother of Michelle Labelle-Hunter (husband Corey Hunter), Nicole Labelle and Marc Labelle (wife Sharleen).  She was dearly loved by her grandchildren Kathryn (Katie) Marie Chase and Micheal Labelle-Simon.  She enjoyed a special bond as Grandma Jeanne to Ashley Bedard,  Jasmine and Meghan Hodgins, Leona Bessette, Sydney Hodgins, Abigail Mentzner and Nickolas Hodgins-Gohr. Jeanne fully immersed herself in every aspect of her life but especially in those related to her family, friends and her career as a teacher.  Her family and friends could always count on her to plan trips and get togethers while her colleagues were always assured of her support in all school based projects.  Most of all her students enjoyed her unique sense of humour and her ability to turn adolescent misadventures into learning experiences for the future. A very special thank you to all of her doctors and the nursing staff at North Bay Regional Hospital for their compassion and their dedication to her care. Family will be receiving visitors at the McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Sunday December 27th, 2015 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Peter the Apostle Church on Monday December 28th, 2015 at 10 am. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations made to the Canadian Liver Foundation or London Health Sciences Centre- Multi Organ Transplant Program. Online condolences can be made at www.mcguintyfuneralhome.com
