HILL, Eva Irene

Mrs. Eva Hill, beloved wife of the late Gerald (Jed) Hill, passed away at the North Bay General Hospital, McLaren Site on June 3, 2005, at the age of 94 years. Prior to her recent illness, Eva lived at the Empire Living Centre in North Bay and was a member of the Retired Teachers of Ontario and the Fidelis Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star. She had been an active member of Emanuel United Church for many years. She is survived by her stepmother, Pearl Moore as well as by her two nephews, Rob Martyn, husband of Judy Martyn, and Peter Hill, husband of Mary Jo Hill, and her two nieces Mary Lynn Artmstrong (nee Martyn) wife of Richard Armstrong, and Helen Ellis, wife of the late Gordon Ellis. Her nephew William (Bill) Bailey predeceased her. She is also survived by many great nieces and nephews and numerous great great nieces and nephews. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the MARTYN FUNERAL. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the funeral service at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 8, 2005 at the Martyn Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the North Bay General Hospital Foundation or to a charity of one's choice.
