It is with great sorrow that the family of Paul Head announces his death on Tuesday, October 14, 2003 in his 46th year. Paul gently let go of life at home as was his wish, surrounded by his loving family after a difficult 3 ½ year battle with Multiple Sclerosis. He faced his illness with relentless courage and dignity. Paul was the beloved husband of Madonna Head and devoted father of Matthew. He was the beloved son of Margaret Head and the late Harvey Head of North Bay. Loved brother of Larry Head (Rhonda) of Sault Ste. Marie, Mark Head of Salt Spring Island, British Columbia, and Anne Buckley (Rob) of North Bay. Dearly loved son-in-law of Tom and Betty Murphy of North Bay. Dear brother-in-law of Craig Murphy (Mel) of Winnipeg, Sandy Karlowski (Gary) of Moonstone and Tom Murphy (Paula) of North Bay. Paul was the loving uncle of Christopher, Brooklyne, Madison, Robert, Laura, Emily, T.J. and Carson. Prior to his illness, Paul was a well respected Registered Nurse and Program Manager at the North Bay Psychiatric Hospital. At Paul’s request, there will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place at Forest Lawn Crematorium. A private family service will be held at St. Mary’s Cemetery. The family would like to express our deepest gratitude to Dr. Saunders for his constant dedication and compassion to Paul and our family. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy to the Worldwide Wellness/Pain Control Organization, the North Bay Chapter of the Multiple Sclerosis Society or the V.O.N. would be gratefully appreciated.
