HAMMERSTROM, Harry Gustav

At Eastholme, Powassan on Friday, October 12, 2007 in his 91st year. Loving husband for 70 years of Evelyn Myrtle McKenzie and dear father of Elsa and her husband Bruce Wain. Predeceased by his sister Elsa (Mrs. Harry Seguin) of Toronto and his brother William Hammerstrom of Haileybury. He will be sadly missed by the families of nieces Frances Fitzpatrick of Toronto, Marie (Andy) Foley of Boston, Patricia Downie of Cobourg and nephews Joseph Seguin of Barrie, Harold (Marie) Hammerstrom of Callander and Michael Hammerstrom of North Bay, as well as the many Wain relatives he gained. Harry will be fondly remembered by many friends and associates whose lives he touched in the mining industry and through golf.



At his request, cremation to take place immediately, interment of ashes at Restoule Cedar Grove Cemetery at a later date. There will be no service. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Harry's memory to Eastholme Home for the Aged or Cedar Grove Cemetery (c/o Glenn Brown, Restoule ON P0H 2R0) would be kindly appreciated.
