At the North Bay General Hospital surrounded by family on Friday December 7, 2007 in his 80th year. Dear husband of Beulah (Ratz). Loving father of Steve Hamilton (Kim) of Astorville, Wayne Campbell (Frances Lankin) of Restoule, Warren Campbell of North Bay and Garry Campbell (Dillon Kenney) of Toronto. Predeceased by his son Rodney Hamilton. Lovingly remembered by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Survived by his sister Alma Clark of Nova Scotia, sisters-in-law Shirley Yearington and Carol Desjardins of North Bay and brother-in-law Russell Ratz (Cathy) of Trout Creek. Predeceased by sisters Muriel Bellefontaine and Hazel Malcolm.



Dave worked for over 30 years as a stationary engineer at the North Bay Psychiatric Hospital. He was a founding member of the Optimist Club, and a member of the North Bay Masonic Lodge 617, St. John’s Chapter R.A.M., Rorab Shrine Club and a leader for 2 Boy Scout Troops.



Friends may call at the Martyn Funeral Home (across from city hall) today from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Masonic memorial service will be held this evening at 7 pm. The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday at 11 am. Interment at the Forest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
