Died suddenly in hospital at Amprior on Sunday morning, November 30, 2003, at the age of 55 years. Loved mother of Donald Haggerty of Arnprior and Mona Gauvreau of Calgary. "Grandma" of Logan Gauvreau. Predeceased by her parents, Rene and Emilia Gauvreau as well as brothers Marcel and Ronald. Born in Haileybury, Ontario, Carmen grew up in Temagami. She married in 1972. Prior to settling in Arnprior, Carmen lived in Chatham, New Brunswick, Victoria, British Columbia, Portage LaPrainie, Manitoba, Belgrade, Yugoslavia, Cold Lake, Alberta and Ottawa. Well known in the Bingo community, she is also survived by sisters, Lucille Lingenfelter (Jake) and Theresa Tremblay (Rene), both of Chapleau, Colette (Jerry) of Havelock, Bernadette (Phil) of Arnprior as well as brothers, Denis (Betty) and Gerald (Shirley), both of Temagami, Fern (Edith) of Kingston, Robert (Shirley) of Marmora, Roger (Wendy) of Onaping, Donald, Norman (Carolann) and Ranny, all of Arnprior. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the PILON FAMILY FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 50 John Street North, Amprior this morning, December 4 from 10 am until the time of Service in the Pilon Family Chapel at 12 noon. A reception will follow. In remembrance, donations to the Canadian Liver Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
