At North Bay General Hospital, Scollard Site, Monday, September 19, 2005 in his 75th year. Beloved husband of Irene Labelle. Dearly loved father of Steve, David (Leanne) and Susan Pittman-Kangas (Al). Lovingly remembered by grandchildren Scott and Krista Guppy and Chris, Kevin and Jordan Pittman. Dear brother of Len Guppy (Joyce), Margaret Gerbasi (Henry) and Jean Speer (late husband Ron). Predeceased by his parents Ted and Molly Guppy, sister Amy Booth (late Jack) and Alf and Jack Guppy (surviving Peggy). Alex was a mining supervisor, a life member of Masonic Lodge Anik #1707 Labrador City, a founding member of Masonic Light of the Rockies #190 Tumbler Ridge, British Columbia and the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 407, Temagami. Cremation at Forest Lawn Crematorium.
