C’est avec une profonde tristesse que la famille annonce le décès de leur père, beau-père, gran-père. Des dons à la société de sclérose en plaques, au nom de Angèle Landry, seraient grandement appréciés de la part de la famille. Peacefully, after a short illness, on Saturday, January 3, 2004 in his 80th year. Beloved husband of the late Lucienne Marie (Ducharme) and dear friend of Marie Landry. He was the loving father of Donald Guillemette (Monette) of Burlington, Gaetan Guillemette (Pauline) of North Bay, Normand Guillemette (Mercedes) of Toronto, George Guillemette (Collette) of North Bay, Angèle Landry (deceased) (Ronald) of North Bay, Juliette English (Leon) of Sudbury, Jérome Guillemette (Lise) of Sudbury, Roger Guillemette (Pauline) of North Bay and Jules Guillemette (Jeannette) of Sudbury. He was the beloved grandfather of 21 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Julien was the dear brother of Rita Gauthier (Ernest) of North Bay, Fernand Guillemette (deceased) (Rita) of Timmins, Yvette Tremblay (Joe, deceased) of Sudbury, Irene Dégagné (Jérome) of Corbeil and Angeline Délorge (Harvey) of Sudbury. The family will receive visitors at the Paul Funeral Home in Powassan (705-724-2024) on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. with a prayer service at 8:45 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Father Bernard Cloutier at St. Thomas d’Aquin Church in Astorville on Wednesday at 10 a.m. Spring interment St. Thomas d’Aquin Cemetery.
