GUENETTE, Simone Marie (née Marleau)

1921-2006 – The family announces with sorrow her death at the West Nipissing General Hospital, Sturgeon Falls, on Sunday, August 27, 2006 at the age of 85 years. Daughter of the late Aldeba Marleau and of the late Rose Alba (née Beauparlant) Marleau. Wife of the late Adrien Guenette. Cherished mother of Clemence, and Anna Rivest (Normand) both of Hanmer, Denise Morrison (George), Diane Savage (Léonard), Lionel (Pierrette), Richard (Carole), Bernard (Micheline), Mignone O'Brien (Michel), and Antoine (Marjolaine) all of Sturgeon Falls, Rachel Fournier of Ste Catharines (late Richard), Hélène Desormier (Victor) of Welland, Raymond (Colette), of Cache Bay, Agnes Chartrand (Roger) of Timmins, Gaëtanne Savage (Jacques Roy), and Françine Guenette both of Chelmsford, Gaston of Coniston, Victor (Lise), François (Sylvie) and Joseph (Arlene) all of Sudbury. Predeceased by her daughter, Yvonne Arbour (Victor) of Lavigne. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her 46 grandchildren and 57 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Jean Noël Marleau (Georgette), and André (Joe) Marleau (Denise) both of Sturgeon Falls. Predeceased by her two brothers and by her two sisters, Roland, Lionel, Gracia, and Agnes.



The family will receive relatives and friends at THEORET-BOURGEOIS FUNERAL HOME, Sturgeon Falls, today, August 29, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial to be held at Sacré Coeur Church, Sturgeon Falls, on Wednesday, August 30, 2006 at 11 am. Donations to the West Nipissing General Hospital Foundation (Cancer Services), would be greatly appreciated.
