GUENETTE, Hortense (née Savage)

1920- 2006 – The family announces with sorrow the death of their mother, Hortense Guénette, at the Nipissing Manor, Corbeil, on Saturday, April 29, 2006 at the age of 85 years. Predeceased by her parents, Israel and Lea (née Villeneuve) Savage. Cherished mother of Fernand (Yolande) of River Valley, Florian of Field, Alain of Serpent River, Fleurette Labine (Aurel) of Hagar, Jocelyne Rochefort (Jim) of North Bay, and Theresa Quenneville (Don) of Field. Predeceased by five sons, Rheal, Aime, Leo-Paul, Raymond, Edmond and by three daughters, Edna Perrin, Fernande Guénette and Gilberte Guénette. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her 29 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great- grandchild. Predeceased by all of her brothers and sisters, Paul, Tanis, Charles, Arthur, Rose-Anna Lecuyer, Rose-Alma Carriere, and Exina Philippe.



The family will reveive relatives and friends at THEORET-BOURGEOIS FUNERAL HOME, Sturgeon Falls, today, May 1st, 2006 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sacré Coeur Church, Sturgeon Falls, on Tuesday, May 2, 2006 at 1 p.m. In memory of Mrs Guénette, donations to the Nipissing Manor Building Funds, Heart & Stroke Foundation and the Canadian Cancer Foundation would be appreciated.
