Mrs. Ethel Grasser died suddenly on Sunday, November 16th, 2003 in her 83rd year at her home in Trout Creek. Ethel (Young) was predeceased by her parents Rose (Busch) and Albert Young, and her husband George Joseph Grasser. She was the loving mother of Garry Grasser (Helen) of Acton, Noreen Lang (the late Robert) of Sudbury, Elwood Grasser (Sharon) of Trout Creek, Reg Grasser (Cecilia) of Trout Creek. Beloved grandmother of Melody Chapman (Ryan), Shawn Lang (Cheryl), Michelle De Roos (Andy), Heather Grasser (Tim), Keely Grasser, Ryan Grasser, Mitchell Grasser Tracie Van Roon (Eric) and Kathy Young (Andy), great-grandchildren Tara, Logan, & Noah Chapman, Paris Lang, Dylan De Roos, Erika, Garett and Brooke Van Roon. Ethel was the dear sister of Francis Young (Maybelle) of Powassan, Emil Young (Mary) of Trout Creek, Conrad Young (Betty) of Powassan and sister-in-law of Clara Young of Powassan. She was predeceased by her brother Ernie Young and sister Leona Cleroux (the late Henry). The family will receive visitors at the Paul Funeral Home in Powassan (705-724-2024) on Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 & 7:00 to 9:00 pm with Prayer Service at 8:45 p.m.. The Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted by Father Ron Meyers on Wednesday at 11:00 am at Sacred Heart Church, Trout Creek. Interment to follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery. If desired, donations may be made in Ethel’s memory to the Sacred Heart Church Building Fund.
