At the North Bay General Hospital, McLaren Site on Sunday March 26, 2006 in his 78th year. Predeceased by the late Irene Anderson. Father of Danny Grant of Toronto and Nancy Anderson (Rick Cunnington) of North Bay. Survived by grandchildren Melinda and Chad and great grandson Nathanial. Predeceased by his sister Allison Hughes.

Douglas was a proud member of the RCAFA 406 Wing. Cremation at the Forest Lawn Crematorium.
