GOULET, Marcel

C'est avec grande tristesse que la famille annonce le décès de Marcel Goulet le 29 mai 2005 à l'âge de 72 ans à la suite d'une lutte courageuse contre le cancer. Il est décédé à la maison entouré de sa famille. Époux bien-aimé de Claudette (Lecompte), père dévoué de Pierre (Christine Laflèche) d'Ottawa et leurs enfants (Caroline, Sophie et Éric), Nathalie (Don Latimer) de Marietta, Georgia, Monique (Shawn Hammell) de Kitchener et leurs enfants (Seth et Phillip), et Josée (Marc Tremblay) de Corbeil. Marcel sera aussi manqué par sa soeur Sr. Lucile, s.c.o. d'Ottawa, Maurice (Éliane Cazabon), Fernand (Liliane Paquette), et Claude (Cécile Miron), tous de Verner. Il est prédécédé par ses parents Joseph et Élodia (Hérard), ses frères Gérard, Roger, et Gaston et sa soeur Thérèse (Ovide Vielfaure). Marcel a travaillé chez MacPherson Motors pendant plusieurs années jusqu'à sa retraite en 1994. Il était membre du Club Richelieu et des Chevaliers de Colomb. Marcel avait le gožt de vivre et d'aventure. Il jouissait de jouer au golf et aux cartes avec ses amis, ses enfants et ses petits-enfants. La famille accueillera parents et amis à la MAISON FUNÉRAIRE HILLSIDE, 362 chemin Airport, le mercredi,1er juin 2005 de 14h à16h et de 19h à 21h30. La célébration eucharistique aura lieu à la Paroisse des Sts. Anges le jeudi, 2 juin 2005 à 10h30. Des dons au Centre régional de cancérologie du Nord-Est d'Ontario seraient grandement appréciés par la famille.

GOULET, Marcel - It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Marcel Goulet on May 29, 2005 at the age of 72 years after a courageous battle with cancer. He passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Claudette (Lecompte) and his children Pierre (Christine Laflèche) of Ottawa and their children (Caroline, Sophie and Éric), Nathalie (Don Latimer) of Marietta, Georgia, Monique (Shawn Hammell) of Kitchener and their children (Seth and Phillip), and Josée (Marc Tremblay) of Corbeil. Marcel will be sadly missed by his sister Sr. Lucile, s.c.o. of Ottawa and his brothers Maurice (Éliane Cazabon), Fernand (Liliane Paquette), and Claude (Cécile Miron) all of Verner. He was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Élodia (Hérard), his brothers Gérard, Roger, and Gaston and his sister Thérèse (Ovide Vielfaure). Marcel worked in the office at MacPherson Motors for many years until his retirement in 1994. Marcel made many friends through the Richelieu Club and the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed life to the fullest, traveling to many parts of the world with Claudette. He also enjoyed golfing and playing cards with his friends, children and grandchildren and put a lot of pride in landscaping. Family receiving friends at HILLSIDE FUNERAL SERVICES, 362 Airport Road, on Wednesday, June 1, 2005 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9:30 p.m. Funeral Mass at the Sts. Anges Parish will be celebrated on Thursday, June 2, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Northeastern Ontario Regional Cancer Centre would be gratefully acknowledged by his family.
