GOUGEON, Alfred

The family is saddened to announce the death of Alfred Joseph ''A.J.'' Gougeon at Leisureworld Nursing Care Centre on Thursday, January 10, 2008. A life long resident of North Bay, Mr. Gougeon was the son of the late Alfred and Mary-Agnes (née Howard) Gougeon. He was predeceased by his brothers, Herbert and Frederick and his sisters, Anna and Kay. He was also predeceased by his beloved wife Helen (née Doherty) in 1984. He is survived by his sons, John (Paulette), David (Lorraine) and Allen all of Toronto and Russell (Louise) of Bowmanville. He was the adored grandfather of Sean (Sandra), Jennifer, Katie, Stephen and Robert and great-grandfather of Thomas and Kira.



The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff of Peir 11 at Leisureworld for the wonderful care that Dad received over the last four years. Thanks to Msgr. David Tramontini and the pallbearers, David Gougeon, Stephen Gougeon, Sean Gougeon, Jake Roth and Dustin Speckt. As requested by ''A.J.'' visitation and funeral service will be private. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to McGUINTY FUNERAL HOME.
