At Kelowna, British Columbia, on Monday November 10th, 2003, at the age of 98 years.. Evelyn Miriam Yeates, was the beloved wife of the late James Bartle Gordon. Proud and loving mother of Gwendolyn Waugh (Jim) of Ottawa and Patricia Leishman (Gerald) of Kelowna, B.C. Evelyn will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Randy, Rick & Jennifer Waugh and Katherine, Paul, and Gordon Leishman and her seven great grandchildren. Dear sister of and Anne Moore of North Bay. Predeceased by her brothers Harry, George and Charles and sisters Carolyn Hart, Elsie Lamothe and Mary Amell. Friends may call at the MARTYN FUNERAL HOME, 464 Wyld Street, North Bay, on Thursday November 20th from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 p.m Funeral services to celebrate her life will be held in the South Shore Evangelical Missionary Church, Callander at 11:00 a.m on Friday November 21st, . Interment to follow in the Callander Union Cemetery. If desired donations to the South Shore Missionary Church, the Heart & Stroke Fund or the Cancer Society will be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
