After a lengthy battle with cancer at the Mattawa General Hospital on Tuesday June 24, 2008 at 68 years of age. Beloved husband of Florence Girard nee Tanguay. Loving father of Ginette (Pierre Villeneuve), Roger (France Dauphinais) and Joel (Yvonne Provencher). Pepère to Dominic, Mathieu, Sarah, Nicholas and Félip. Son of the late Henri and Jacqueline Girard and brother of the late Roland Girard. Survived by sisters and brothers Yollande, Nicole, Yves, Daniel and Pierre. Special thanks to Dr. Williams and the staff at the Mattawa General Hospital for the wonderful care shown to our husband and father. A private celebration of Claude's life will be held for immediate family at the MARTYN FUNERAL HOME. Cremation at the Forest Lawn Crematorium.
