GERVAIS, Irene

Passed away at North Bay General Hospital, Scollard Site, Wednesday, September 14, 2005 at the age of 71 years. Irene (née Jodouin) was the beloved wife of the late Jean Gervais and loved mother of Roger, Darlene Commandant (Jim), Flore Neary (Tom), Diane Klotz, Jules (Brenda), Maurice (Bonita), Françoise Fillion (Allain), Denise (Steve King) and Jean Jr. She will be lovingly remembered by 25 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Eddy Jodouin (Shirley), Elie 'Shorty' Jodouin (Joan), Rita Desroches (Germain) and Robert Jodouin. Predeceased by her parents Ida Forcier and Alec Jodouin, two sisters Yvonne Lapointe and Thérèse Deschamps and four brothers Albert, Léo, Roger and Delphis Jodouin. Irene enjoyed volunteering at the daycare centre and was a member of the Golden Age Club. Family and friends may pay their respects at McGUINTY FUNERAL HOME, Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Paroisse St-Vincent-de-Paul, Monday at 10:30 a.m. Interment Bonfield Cemetery.
