GEORGE, James Michael (Jim)

Surrounded by his family, Jim George peacefully passed away on Friday, August 7, 2015 at the age of 73 at the North Bay General Hospital.  Survived by his beloved wife Sharon (nee: Falls) and loving father to sons Dan (Lorie) of North Bay, Mike (Kristi) of Waterdown and Geoff (Cathy) of Brooklin.  He had six loving grandchildren, Jessie, Eliesha, Adam, Emma, Ryan and Allison and four great grandchildren, Phoenix, Juliette, Quinn and Emery who will all dearly miss him. Jim spent 31 years as a produce manager at Food City/Sobey’s and took great pride in always making kids smile by giving them a piece of fruit or a cookie, always followed by a joke.  As per Jim’s wishes, cremation has occurred and a gathering of remembrance will take place on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at The Elks Lodge at 325 Elks Lane from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m.  Donations in his name to The North Bay General Hospital Association would be gladly appreciated.
