Passed away peacefully with his loved ones by his side at the Mattawa Hospital on Friday, August 4, 2017, he was in his 74 th year. Beloved wife Marilyn Gauthier (nee Boyer) of Mattawa. They were about to celebrate their 52nd wedding anniversary on August 7, 2017. Cherished father of Donna Gauthier (Rob), David Gauthier (Laura) all of Drayton Valley, Alberta and Tina Gauthier (Rich) of Austin, Texas. Proud grandfather of Tyler, Josh, Melissa, Kurtis, Lily and Noah. Maurice will be sadly missed by his brother Robert Gauthier (Marion) of Calvin. A memorial service will be held at St. Anne’s Church on Thursday, August 10, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation has taken place at Forest Lawn Crematorium. If desired, donations to the Northern Cancer Research would be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
