GAUTHIER, Eleanor Marie Lena (nee Guillemette)

The family announces the passing of their beloved mother Eleanor Gauthier on Saturday, June 23rd, 2007 at Extendicare Falconbridge, Sudbury. Predeceased by her husband Gerard Gauthier December 2nd, 1985, also predeceased by her parents Andre and Desneige Guillemette. Beloved mother of Raymond (Denise) of Timmins, Normand (Annette) of Garson, Noel (Donna) of Astorville, Jean-Paul of North Bay and Philip of Astorville. Adored grandmother of 14 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Eleanor was predeceased by brother Adrien, and sisters Rose, Francoise, and Georgina. Survived by sisters Julie (Amedee Laperriere), Gilberte (Henri Laperriere), Lorette (Raymond Dagenais), Lucille (Conrad Voyer), Yvonne (Richard Lavictoire) and brother Roger (Jeaninne). Eleanor and Gerard raised five boys on their homestead in Chisholm.



The Gauthier family will receive visitors at the PAUL FUNERAL HOME, Powassan, on Wednesday, June 27, 2007 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm with Prayer Service at 8:45 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, June 28, 2007 at 11:00 am at St. Thomas d'Aquin Church, Astorville followed by interment at St. Thomas d'Aquin Cemetery, Astorville. If desired, donations in Eleanor's memory to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
