GALLIPO, Maisie (Ginn)

On Thursday July 26, 2007 at Cassellholme, Maisie Gallipo passed away peacefully at the age of 95 years. She was predeceased by her husband Allen (Al) Gallipo in 2001 and sisters Louisa, Alfreda and Elise. Maisie is survived by her daughter Barbara (Robert Dallard), son Thomas (Caroline); grandchildren Norman (Heather), Susan (Joe Muto), Vicki (Claude Gravelle), and Roberta (Chuck McKnight) and great grandchildren Jordan (Ashley) & Natalie Dallard, Brandon & Brianne Muto, Christopher, Darren and Nathan Gravelle and Alicia McKnight and great great grandchild Rianna Dallard. Maisie was born in the district of Rochford in the county of Essex England on March 21, 1912. She emigrated to Canada in 1928 and graduated nursing school in 1933. Maisie met and married Al in 1940. Maisie was a member of the Fidelis Chapter No. 99 Order of the Eastern Star. Her family would like to extend their appreciation to the caring staff at Cassellholme for the compassionate care she received during her stay there.



In keeping with her wishes cremation has taken place. Friends may call at the MARTYN FUNERAL HOME (across from city hall) on Saturday afternoon from 1:00 pm until time for a memorial service at 2:00 pm. Easter Star service will be held at 1:30 pm. Interment of ashes to follow in North Bay Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the Shriner's Children's Hospital - Canadian unit, Canadian Parkinson Society or the North Bay Humane Society will be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
