GALE, Charles Michael Ernest “Mike”

Suddenly and unexpectedly, on October 19, 2016 at North Bay Regional Health Centre in his 65th year. Mike Gale of Powassan was the beloved fiancé of Helen Shouinard of Englehart; loving father of Kelso Gale (Sarah) of Barrie; the caring son of Bernice E. (Peever) and Charles M. Gale of Powassan, proud grandfather of Shelby, Dustin, Madison, Chelsea and great-grandchildren Tyson and Nevaeh. He was also the oldest brother of Diane Steenburg (Jim) of North Bay, Randy (Rosemary) of Powassan, Paul (Janet) and Jason (Carol) all of North Bay. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, friends and fellow Navy Veterans. The Gale family will receive visitors at the Paul Funeral Home, Powassan on Sunday, October 23, 2016 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. and on Monday, October 24 from 10 am until the funeral service at 11 am. Cremation to follow. Mike served in the Navy and more recently worked at Food Basics in North Bay. If desired, memorial donations to the Navy Veteran’s Association (cheques only please) are suggested.
