GAGNON, Roland Philip Joseph

Rolly Gagnon died peacefully, at North Bay Regional Health Centre, on Saturday, July 30, 2022. He was 78 years old. Rolly was the beloved husband of Hannelore (Klohn) of Chisholm and the much-loved father of Silke (Michel Menard) of North Bay and Rene (Dayna) of Yellowknife, NWT. He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Carissa, Melissa, Jesse and Maria. Rolly was the dear brother of Andy Gagnon of North Bay and was predeceased by his brother George Gagnon. Rolly was retired from a 38-year career in the Canadian Armed Forces. He was a dedicated 27-year member of the Chisholm Volunteer Fire Department and long-time member of Royal Canadian Legion Branch 445, Callander. Cremation has taken place. The Gagnon family will receive visitors at the Paul Funeral Home, Powassan on Saturday, August 6, 2022 from 12:30 to 2:00 pm. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 pm.
