Laure died peacefully with her family at her side at the Mattawa General Hospital on Saturday March 15, 2008, at the age of 79 years. For the past 42 years she has been the beloved wife Berchmans Gagnon. She will be lovingly remembered by her family Pierrette and André, Melanie (Marc) and Maxime, Chantal (Luc) and Félix and Sébastien. Born in Mattawa, she was the daughter of the late Sylvio Jodouin and his wife Alma (nee Chayer) and will be sadly missed by her sisters Zella (Vince), Muriel (Gerry predeceased), Marcel (Patsy) and Joffre (Annette predeceased). Laure was also predeceased by her brothers and sisters Rita, Lionel, Gérard, Laurent, Donalda, Juliette, and Lilianne. In keeping with her wishes cremation has taken. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Father Tim Moyle at St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church, Mattawa, at 11:00 am on Tuesday March 18th, 2008.
