GAGNÉ, Ernest

(1917-2007) - The family announces with sorrow his death in Sturgeon Falls Sunday, February 11, 2007 at the age of 89. Beloved husband of the late Irène Gagné (née Fournier, predeceased November 15,2005). Loving father of Claude, Lise, Marc, Richard, Roxanne and Carole. Cherished grandfather of Marie-Eve. Predeceased by his brothers and sisters, Elie, Henri, Lucien, Lucienne, Rosa, Antoinette, Eva, Marianne, Maurice, Jeannot, Gilbert and Théodore. Fondly remembered by his daughters-in law, sons- in law, brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Son of the late Joseph Gagné and the late Joanna (née Renaud) Gagné . Mr. Gagné was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion and a veteran of the Second World War. He was also a member of the Club d'Age d'Or of Sturgeon Falls and active in Le Conseil des Familles Au Château.'



The family will receive friends at THÉORT BOURGEOIS FUNERAL HOME in Sturgeon Falls, Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday friends may call after 9 a.m. Mass to be held Saturday, February 17, 2007 at 11 a.m. in Sacré-Coeur Church, Sturgeon Falls.
