Fruci, Domenico

Peacefully passed away at home, surrounded by his family on January 7, 2015 at the age of 81 years. Beloved husband of Cathy (nee Caruso ).  Loved father of Albert Fruci, Carmen Fruci (Alanna) and Anna Maria Fruci. Cherished Nonno of Nicholas, Michael, Sarah, Bryanna and Daniella. Dear brother of Anna Ipolite (Mario deceased) and Veronica Febeo of Rome. Predeceased by his parents Natale Fruci and Anna (nee Dastoli) and his brother Giuseppe Fruci. Domenico was born on May 6, 1933 in Fildelfia Vibo, Italy and immigrated to Canada in 1960 from Rome Italy, leaving behind his family, following the love of his life Cathy, to whom he would marry. A carpenter by trade and an employee of the City of North Bay for 21 years.  Family will be receiving friends at the McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Monday, January 12, 2015 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Pro Cathedral of the Assumption on Tuesday at 10 am. Entombment to follow at All Saints Mausoleum. Donations to the ProCathedral Memorial Fund, or the Canadian Cancer Society would be gratefully appreciated by his family.
