Vera-Anne Marie Fricker, a beloved wife, mother, Nana, and sister, peacefully passed away on Saturday, August 12th, at the North Bay Regional Health Centre. She was the cherished wife of Terry 'Chip' Fricker for an incredible 45 years, a partnership filled with love, laughter, and enduring companionship. Anne was a dedicated mother to Terri-Anne and Neil (wife Shailynne), and a loving Nana to Dustin (Megan), Jaden, Edward, and Brett. and the youngest sister to Lizette & Zella.

Anne's life clearly defines strength! She continually overcame health challenges, With the support of her loving family, homecare workers, and let's not forget her 2 favorite kids, Mazie and Mia (dogs). We can all learn from her perseverance, dedication & loyalty. Qualities that showcase the person she was.

 

In her younger years, Anne was a force to be reckoned with on the baseball field, showcasing her athleticism and passion for the game. She also displayed her competitive spirit through her involvement in darts at the Legion, creating lasting memories with friends and fellow enthusiasts.

 

 

Above all, Anne's legacy is defined by strength, determination, and will to truly be yourself. Her ability to find joy in life's moments, no matter how big or small, was a testament to her beautiful soul. Anne's love for her family was unwavering, and her role as a nana brought her immense pride and happiness.

 

As we bid farewell to Vera-Anne Marie Fricker, let us remember her as a beacon of happiness, a source of laughter, and a woman who truly knew how to live life to the fullest. She leaves a legacy of love that will forever remain in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.

 

Please join Anne's family for a Celebration of Life at the Callander Legion on Saturday, August 19th, from 1:00 - 4:00 pm.

 

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Vera-Anne's memory to Heart &Stroke Foundation, a cause that was close to her heart.
