Norma Elizabeth Fraser passed away at the Leisureworld Caregiving Centre, North Bay on Wednesday, December 7, 2005 while in her 88th year. She was predeceased by her parents, the late Harry Fraser and Pearl Fraser (nee French) and her brothers Harry Fraser and Glen Fraser. Born and raised in North Bay she spent her lifetime in North Bay. She was an avid sports enthusiast, community volunteer and reader. She is survived by her sisters-in-law Ada Fraser of North Bay and Olive Fraser of Sudbury, her niece Anne Durocher of Alberta and her nephew Bruce Fraser of Sudbury. Norma enjoyed her working career as a secretary with Boart Longyear Inc. from where she retired. Friends may call at the MARTYN FUNERAL HOME (across from City Hall), today, Friday, December 9th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Services will be held in the Martyn Funeral Chapel on Saturday, December 10th at 11 a.m. Interment in the family plot, Terrace Lawn Cemetery. If desired donations to Trinity United Church will be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
