Passed away peacefully at Cassellholme on Sunday, June 8, 2008 at the age of 86 yrs. Beloved husband of 52 years to Dolores (nee Weiss). Dear father of Brian (Sandra), Susan (friend Adrian) and Kathy Haws. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Kylie, Erin, Jaimie, Evan and Emily. Also survived by his brother Bill (Helen) of B.C. Russell was born in Magnetewan and loved taking walks, boating, fishing, hunting and making maple syrup. He worked as a millwright for Dupont for 29 years and he was a member of the Corona Lodge #454 Burk's Falls as well as the Shriners. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather. Family receiving friends at HILLSIDE FUNERAL SERVICES, 362 Airport Rd, on Wednesday June 11th from 2 until 4 and 7 until 9 pm. A celebration of his life will be held on Thursday June 12th, 2008 at 10:30 at the funeral home. Interment to follow at the Chapman Cemetery in Magnetawan. Donations in memory of Russell to the Alzheimer Society will be gratefully acknowledged by his family.
