1919-2007. The family announces with sorrow his death at the West Nipissing General Hospital, Sturgeon Falls, on Sunday, June 10, 2007 at the age of 88 years. Son of the late François and of the late Melvina (née Portelance) Filion. Husband of the late Yvonne (née Brlé) Filion. Dear father of Jean-Marc (Lois) of North Bay, Pierre-Paul (Judy) of Orléans and Ivan (Christine) of Sudbury. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his ten grandchildren, Stéfane, Renée, Marc-André, Jean-Michel, Luc, Eric, Alain, Elise, Marie-Josée, Hélène and by his great-granddaughter Sophie- Rose. Loving brother of Sr. Cécile Filion S.C.O. of Ottawa. Predeceased by his brothers and sisters, André (late Lilianne), Marcel (Irène of Sturgeon Falls), Roger (Jeannine of Field), Adolphe (late Zerilda), Ida Robitaille (late Arthur), Rose Robitaille (Léon of Sturgeon Falls) and Marie Skaza (late Mike).



The family will receive relatives and friends at THEORET-BOURGEOIS FUNERAL HOME, Sturgeon Falls, on Thursday, June 14, 2007 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at La Résurrection Church, Sturgeon Falls, on Friday, June 15, 2007 at 11 a.m. Donation to Au Château, Home of the Age would be appreciated.
