FIELD, Richard Harry "Rick"

Passed away peacefully at the North Bay General Hospital, Scollard Site, on Friday, October 7, 2005. Richard was the beloved husband of Jessie Anne Thompson, he was 62 years old. Loving father of Jarod and Brandon Curwin. Dearly loved brother of Marlene and her husband Bob Greene of Cornwall and Noreen Cooke of North Bay. He will be fondly remembered by his father-in-law Bill Thompson of Thornbury, by his four brothers-in-law and two sisters-in-law and by his many nieces and nephews. Richard was the proprietor of North Bay Optical, operating it from 1968 until 2001. He was an avid fisherman and hunter, and a former member of Duck's Unlimited. Visitation will be held in the MARTYN FUNERAL HOME (across from City Hall) on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and on Monday, October 10th from 1 p.m. until time for funeral services in the Chapel at 2:30 p.m. Cremation will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, donations to the CNIB will be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
