Peacefully at his residence in North Bay on Wednesday March 26, 2008 in his 66th year after a dignified and private battle with cancer. Beloved husband of 43 years to Madeleine Farnell (nee Fournier). Dear father of Sean ( Line) and Christina (Russell Nodder) both of North Bay. He was the beloved Papa of 4 grandchildren Teri, Sara, Nicholas and Teagan. Dear brother of Heather Ann (Claude Poulin), Ingrid (Dino Bagnariol) and Sheldene Simola. Also survived by his mother Christina (Ted “Pops” Simola). He will be fondly remembered by his brother-in- law Claude Fournier (Madeleine) and Alice and Guy Dube. Predeceased by his father Lloyd Cowling Farnell. Terry worked for Canada Post for over 33 years. He was an avid outdoorsman and a “master”chess player. Family receiving friends at HILLSIDE FUNERAL SERVICES, 362 Airport Rd., on Friday March 28th from 2 until 4 and 7 until 9 pm. Funeral service Saturday March 29th at Hillside at 11 am., Msgr David Tramontini officiating. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Scleroderma Society of Ontario in memory of Terry will be gratefully acknowledged by his family.
