Dianne Beatrice Facette (nee Smith)

We mourn the loss of a remarkable woman, Dianne Beatrice Facette, who passed away at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Wednesday, January 10th, 2024, in her 76th year. She will be greatly missed by her devoted husband, Robert Facette. Dianne was a loving and proud mother to Kathy Jeanneault (Blair) and Charles Facette (Alex). She was a beloved sister to Ronald Smith (Judy) and Liana Smith-Janzen (Iris). Dianne cherished her role as "G-ma" to Mathieu Jeanneault (Shelby), Adam Jeanneault, and Madison Jeanneault (Noah). She was predeceased by her parents, Beatrice and Homer Smith, and by her brothers, Bobby, Richard, and Carl. Dianne was a woman with an extraordinary spark inside her. Unapologetically herself, her indomitable spirit and courage were an inspiration to everyone fortunate enough to cross paths with her. One of Dianne's greatest virtues was her selfless and giving nature. Charity really was her patron virtue. She dedicated herself wholeheartedly to helping those in need, extending a helping hand to both people and animals. She was a true beacon of compassion and kindness. Dianne’s creativity knew no bounds. She found solace and joy in crafting beautiful works of art, be it through soap making, jewellery design, or painting. Her creations showcased her innate talent and genuine love for the arts, leaving an everlasting impression on those lucky enough to witness her talent firsthand. In the earlier years of her life, Dianne's passion for singing country music burned bright. She poured her heart and soul into her performances, capturing the essence of every note and lyric. She will be deeply missed by her friends, family, and all those whose lives she touched. Her legacy will endure through her creative works, compassionate acts, and the memories shared with her loved ones. As per Dianne’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Friends may call at MARTYN FUNERAL HOME (464 Wyld Street) on Monday, January 15th from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. to offer their condolences and share stories.
