EVANS, Eva “Jean” passed away peacefully at North Bay Regional Health Centre with her family by her side on Tuesday September 11, 2012 at the age of 78. She will be greatly missed by her husband Joe and her three sons Jeff (Jacinte), Greg (Patricia) and Ken (Denise). Jean will also be missed by her sister Lila Pope of Sudbury and her nieces and nephews. Jean was loved by her 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. The family has requested donations to be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Whispering Pines Funeral Home (705) 724-9734. A Memorial Visitation will be held at the Restoule Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 639 on Saturday September 22nd, 2012 from 11am to 1pm with a Memorial Service conducted by Mr. Ron Holotuk to follow at 1 pm in the Legion.
