Peacefully after a lengthy battle with ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) at the Mattawa Hospital on Friday January 28, 2011 in her 68th year. Dear wife of Cliff ‘Poune’. Loving mother of Clifford Jr. (Linda), Jeannette (Denis Belanger), Claude (Cindy) and Raymond (Lynne) all of Mattawa. Sadly missed by 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her granddaughter Samantha. Survived by her brothers and sisters Jean-Guy Manseau (Anne) of France, Pauline Manseau (Sid) of Montreal, Denis Manseau and Suzanne Manseau both of Ottawa. Also survived by her in-laws, Izola Bastien, Betty-Ann Bastien, Frank Bastien Jr., Linda Belanger (Danny), Christine Schouwstra and Marion Blay (Ron). Predeceased by her father Joseph A. Manseau, mother Marie-Rose Bougie, father-in-law Frank Bastien and mother-in-law Dorine Lapensée. Estelle worked as a waitress at Valois’ Restaurant for 42 years and 4 months. Friends may call at the Martyn & Sloan ‘Mattawa Chapel’ on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral Mass will be held at St. Anne’s Church on Tuesday at 11 am. Cremation with burial of ashes at St. Anne’s Cemetery.
