Suddenly at his home in North Bay, on Wednesday May 23rd, 2012. Simon was the beloved husband of Sharon (nee Rogers), he was 76 years old. Loving father of Paul (Leah), Tim (Sue), Chris (Paula), Danny, Pascal (Ruth Ann), Valerie (Jay) and Natalie. Lovingly remembered by his many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dearly loved brother of Thelma Faubert (Roger predeceased), Ida Gray (Kenny predeceased) and Klazina Elmy (Gary). Simon for many years owned and operated the Seven Seas Restaurant and was the Superintendent at Stonegate 1 and formerly at Stonegate 2 He was a member and Past Master of Nipissing Lodge A.F. & A.M. No. 420 G.R.C and a member of Ramese Temple and the Rorab Shrine Club of North Bay. A time of Remembrance and Celebration will be held in the Lounge at Stonegate 1 (116 Blair Street) on Monday, May 28th from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. Cremation has taken place. If desired, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by his family. Arrangements entrusted to Basic Cremation Services (705-476-4444).
