ECKENSVILLER, “Mike” Michael John

(Employee of MTO) - Mike Eckensviller of North Bay died suddenly in a tragic car crash on Hwy. 11 North, North Bay on Sunday, June 10, 2007 in his 35th year. He was the beloved son of Barb (nee Holliday) and Bob Eckensviller of Powassan and dear brother of Cheryl Whalley (Malcolm) of Mattawa. Mike was the loving grandson of Ruth (the late Lloyd) Holliday of North Bay and Frances (the late S.J. “Boston”) Eckensviller of Powassan. He will be lovingly remembered by niece Brittany, nephew Brandon, several aunts, uncles and cousins and many friends and co-workers.



The Eckensviller family will receive visitors at the PAUL FUNERAL HOME, Powassan, on Wednesday, June 13, 2007 from 7 to 9 pm and on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, June 15, 2007, in St. Joseph's Church, Powassan. Interment to follow.



Mike was a former member of the St. Joseph's-Scollard Hall Bears football team, and even after graduation attended games to cheer on his team.
