ECKENSVILLER, Frances Elizabeth “Frankie“

Frances Eckensviller died peacefully at Eastholme, Powassan, on Friday, October 19, 2007 in her 96th year. Frances (Young) was predeceased by her husband Sebastian Jacob “Boston“ Eckensviller (1910-1992). She was the beloved mother of Ron Eckensviller (Claudette) of North Bay, Bob Eckensviller (Barb) of Powassan, Bev Miller of Powassan and the late Eileen Eckensviller; Loving Grandmother of Doug (Tracy), Keith (Beth), Cathy (Guy), Cheryl (Malcolm), and the late Brian and Michael; and Great- Grandmother of Jamie, Jessica and Allison, Emily and Kailey, Brittany and Brandon. Frances was the dear sister of Clara Eckford of Powassan, Loretta McKenzie of Powassan, Rita Eckensviller of Kitchener and Erma Dominico of Toronto. She was predeceased by her siblings Amelia Hummel and Gilbert, Edward and John Young.



The Eckensviller family will receive visitors at the PAUL FUNERAL HOME, Powassan on Sunday, October 21, 2007 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Evening Prayer Service 8:45 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Fr. Asisclo Podelino on Monday, October 22, 2007 at 11:00 am. at St. Joseph's Church, Powassan. Interment St. John's Alsace Cemetery.
