DURETTE, Claudette (née Philion) - 1937-2005

It is with profound sadness that the Durette family announces her death at the West Nipissing General Hospital, on Tuesday, October 11, 2005 at the age of 68 years. Beloved wife of Raymond Durette of Sturgeon Falls. Cherished mother of Guy (Julie Corriveau), and Liliane (André Charbonneau) both of Rouyn Noranda, Quebec, Paul (Line Racine), and Denise Durette both of North Bay. Proud grandfather of 12 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Réné (Laurette) of Espanola, Johnny (Lucille) of Sturgeon Falls, Lionel of Thunder Bay, Arthur of Vancouver, and Blanche Gagné of Val Caron. Predeceased by her parents, Delphis Philion and Olive (née Rivet), by two brothers, Alcide and François and two sisters, Rollande Lachapelle and Graziella Lafond. Among their fondest memories, the family remembers Mr. and Mrs. Durette celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on July 7, 2005.
