DUNCAN, Muriel (Brooks)

Passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2005 at the North Bay General Hospital in her 72nd year. Survived and sadly missed by her children Mike Duncan, Loreley Seymour (George) and Wayne Duncan. Muriel playing games, eating ice cream and being goofy will be greatly missed by her grandchildren, Sabrina, Alexandria, Melanie, Matthew and Kristen. Survived by her sisters: Verda Foreshew (Walter), Doreen Culin (Arnold, deceased), Hilda Kirton (Glenn), Ethel Bailey (Grant, deceased), Colleen Brooks (Lyman, deceased), Judy Pringle (Ted) and Connie. She is predeceased by Barb Thompson (George). Muriel was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Muriel was a great strength and support to many people while working at St. Joe's Treatment Centre and for many years after. Muriel had a great love of taking pictures of her friends and scenery. Her many friends will miss her peanut butter cookies and her sticky buns. Visitation at the McGUINTY FUNERAL HOME, Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 10 until time of service in the funeral home chapel at 11:15 a.m. Cremation to follow at Forest Lawn Crematorium, Tower Drive, North Bay. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be gratefully appreciated.
